The Pump House History

Over 40 Years of Experience

In 1946, Donald R. Rudderham decided to leave Point Edward, Nova Scotia and move to Ontario with only $100.00 in his pocket. He worked for many companies like Crane Supply and Hudson Plumbing. Donald met his wife Shirley and they have one son Richard.

In March 1981 he decided to open his own pump business known as The Pump House “Your One Stop Pump Shop” which he worked for one year from his garage at home. After that he moved to Oak Ridges with one employee and then moved to Richmond Hill which he hired another employee and he has been there for over 20 years and now has 5 employees, Donald is now semi-retired.

In July of 2021 Brad Hallam has taken over owner ship from Don and is now carving a new path for The Pump House so stay tuned.
